Invisible Days

Invisible Day is a devised project about the realization of truth within a world cloaked by propaganda and haze. China is covered in a blanket of smog, but this blanket isn’t a safe and warm feeling for the nearly 1.4 billion people enveloped by it. Instead, it is a constant reminder of mortality and consumption. Coughing is second nature and squinting to read a sign, a way of life. The coal industry helps facilitate this self-inflicted poison. This is an environmental, social, and economic issue, not only for China but the world, as we all share air.
